CYC holds a number of social events each year, including the following special parties:

- MC Scow Regatta Fri-Sun May 20-22nd
- Memorial Day MonMay 30st
- Independence Day SatJuly 2nd
- Labor Day MonSept. 5th
- Membership Meal Friday Oct 28th
- Holiday Party (Christmas) SatDec. 3th
Club members use the facilities for family and company parties as well.
