Rowing In 1991, CYC's interest in water activities broadened to include rowing. The CYC rowing program is now the most active in the Charlotte area. During the warm months, CYC rowers meet at the club twice each week to practice, usually Sundays and Wednesdays. All members are welcome to use club-owned Sea Shells at that time. Some rowers own shells and store them in a storage building onsite that was built for shells. The rowing program sponsors three major events each year and sends participates to other regional rowing events. The rowing events include:           - US Rowing Southeast Regional Regatta           - Master National           - Head iof the Chattahooche           - Charleston Chase           - Head of the South
